We recently completed an exciting project where we installed a combination of solar panels and a battery storage system for one of our valued customers. This project was a blast to work on, and we ensured every detail was perfect.
Installation Details
Solar Panel Installation
We installed a total of 15 high-efficiency solar panels:
12 x Jinko 440W Panels: These panels were installed on the west-facing roofs, each paired with a power optimiser to mitigate any potential shading issues, ensuring maximum efficiency and energy output.
3 x 295W Perlight Panels: For the lower roof space, these panels were connected to Enphase microinverters. This setup is designed to enhance performance and reliability, allowing for independent operation of each panel.
Inverter and Battery Storage System
5kW String Inverter: This inverter was used for the Jinko panels, efficiently converting the solar power into usable electricity for the home.
Givenergy 13.5kWh AC Couple Battery System: This advanced battery storage system stores surplus energy generated during the day, allowing the homeowner to use stored energy during the evening or charge the battery during off-peak hours. This system is perfectly aligned with the customerβs EV charging off-peak tariff, maximising savings.
